Key Responsibilities

Connect clients with appropriate community resources, such as healthcare services, housing assistance, legal aid, and employment support.

Advocate for clients' rights and needs within various systems and institutions.

Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to share knowledge and best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in direct social work practice, preferably in community-based settings.

Proven experience in conducting client assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing counseling.

Strong knowledge of social services, community resources, and legal frameworks relevant to social assistance in Michoacán .

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations and manage sensitive cases with empathy and professionalism.

Proficiency in case management software and standard office applications.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Morelia area.
