What you'll do
Review automated month-end close work in QuickBooks Online and Digits, and catch what doesn't look right before it goes to the client.
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and tie out the financials.
Investigate discrepancies and figure out the why, not just the fix.
Talk with US business owners over Zoom and email: walk them through their numbers in plain English.
Help build and improve our AI and automation workflows.
What you bring
2+ years of paid bookkeeping or accounting experience. Internships and coursework don't count. This is not an entry-level role.
Solid grasp of debits and credits, reconciliations, accruals and payroll.
Advanced English (C1 or higher), spoken and written. You'll be on calls with US clients.
Very comfortable with tech. You've used AI tools in real work.
Self-managed and responsive, with regular overlap with US Pacific and Central business hours.
Nice to have
Experience serving US small businesses or a US CPA firm.
Familiarity with Karbon, Digits or Double.
