About the Role Our client, a prominent construction company known for its high standards and complex projects, is seeking an experienced Jefe de Calidad de Construcción to join their team in Acapulco, Guerrero . This critical role is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet or exceed the company's rigorous quality benchmarks and industry standards. The idóneo candidate will have a deep understanding of quality management systems, inspection processes, and relevant construction codes. You will lead a team of quality inspectors and collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to uphold the integrity and durability of our construction projects. This is a key position within our organization, vital to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the construction industry in Guerrero .
Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage the project-specific Quality Management Plan (QMP).
Oversee and conduct regular inspections of construction work, materials, and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Develop and maintain quality control checklists and testing procedures.
Manage the non-conformance reporting and corrective action process.
Train and mentor site personnel on quality standards and procedures.
Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify and address potential quality issues.
Review and approve material submittals, test reports, and quality-related documentation.




Ensure all quality-related activities comply with project contract requirements and relevant building codes.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
Prepare regular quality performance reports for senior management.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction quality control and assurance.
Proven experience in developing and implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS) in construction projects.
In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and testing procedures.
Familiarity with relevant national and international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Certification from a recognized quality organization (e.g., ASQ) is a plus.
