About the Role Our client, a leading national restaurant chain, is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Procurement Management Specialist to join their team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within Mexico. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and optimizing the procurement process for food, beverages, and supplies across all company locations. You will be responsible for sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining the quality and consistency of products. This role requires a deep understanding of supply chain management, strong negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to identifying cost-saving opportunities. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and economical operation of our client's extensive supply network.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic sourcing and procurement plans for food, beverage, and operational supplies.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors and suppliers, ensuring they meet quality and service standards.
Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and supplier performance to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Analyze procurement data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations in all procurement activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and finance, to align procurement strategies with business objectives.




Manage inventory levels and supply chain logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and foster productive partnerships.
Prepare reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within the food service or hospitality industry.
Proven experience in vendor negotiation and contract management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment.
Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
Fluency in Spanish is required; proficiency in English is a strong asset.
Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
