About the Role
Our client, a highly innovative research and development firm operating at the bleeding edge of blockchain technology, is seeking an experienced and visionary Líder Técnico Blockchain . This critical role, based in Ciudad Juárez , will focus on the design, development, and implementation of novel blockchain protocols and core infrastructure. You will lead a team of talented engineers, guiding them through the entire development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance. The adecuado candidate possesses a deep theoretical understanding of distributed ledger technologies, consensus mechanisms, cryptography, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and architecture of new blockchain protocols and core infrastructure components.

Mentor and manage a team of blockchain developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of blockchain nodes, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic primitives.

Define technical roadmaps, architectural standards, and best practices for protocol development.

Collaborate with research teams to explore and integrate cutting-edge advancements in cryptography and distributed systems.

Ensure the security, scalability, efficiency, and resilience of the blockchain network.

Conduct code reviews, performance analysis, and security audits for core protocol components.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues at the protocol level.





Contribute to technical documentation and whitepapers.

Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and emerging trends in blockchain protocol development.

Requirements

Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cryptography, or a related field with a strong research background.

Extensive experience (7+ years) in software development, with a significant focus on blockchain protocol design and implementation.

Proven track record of leading engineering teams and delivering complex technical projects.

Deep understanding of various consensus algorithms (e.g., PoW, PoS, BFT) and their trade-offs.

Expertise in cryptography, network protocols, and distributed systems.

Proficiency in systems programming languages such as Go, Rust, or C++.

Experience with performance optimization and security hardening of distributed systems.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and architectural design skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical vision.

Contributions to open-source blockchain projects are highly valued.
