About the Role
Our client, a dynamic real estate investment firm with growing operations, is seeking an astute and proactive Asesor Legal para Inversiones Inmobiliarias to join their team. This position is based in Torreón, Coahuila , and will be instrumental in advising on the legal aspects of real estate transactions, property development, and investment strategies. The adecuado candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, contract negotiation, and due diligence processes. You will be responsible for managing legal risks associated with property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to significant real estate ventures and shape the legal framework for our client's investments in Torreón and surrounding regions. We are looking for a legal professional with excellent analytical skills and a deep understanding of the real estate market.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert legal counsel on all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, and leasing.

Conduct thorough legal due diligence on potential properties and investment opportunities.

Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, lease agreements, development contracts, and financing documents.

Advise on zoning, land use, environmental regulations, and other property-related legal matters.

Manage and resolve title issues, easements, and other encumbrances affecting real estate.

Liaise with external counsel, title companies, surveyors, and government agencies.





Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations.

Assist in the structuring of investment vehicles and partnerships for real estate projects.

Stay updated on market trends and legal developments impacting the real estate industry.

Manage litigation related to real estate disputes when necessary.

Requirements

Law degree (Licenciatura en Derecho) from an accredited institution.

Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in real estate law, with a focus on transactional work.

Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating complex real estate contracts.

Comprehensive understanding of property law, contract law, and corporate law as it applies to real estate.

Proven ability to conduct effective legal due diligence.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Proficiency in Spanish; knowledge of English is an advantage.

Membership in the relevant Bar Association.

Ability to manage a diverse workload and meet tight deadlines.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.
