This role is crucial for enhancing and maintaining the safety standards across various aviation operations, supporting clients worldwide, including those in regions like Mérida, Yucatán, MX . The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of aviation safety management systems (SMS), risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for analyzing safety data, identifying trends, conducting safety assessments, and developing recommendations to mitigate risks and prevent incidents. Key Responsibilities

Analyze safety data, incident reports, and audit findings to identify trends, systemic issues, and potential hazards

Develop and implement proactive safety risk management strategies and mitigation actions

Conduct comprehensive safety assessments and audits of operational procedures and safety management systems (SMS)

Prepare detailed safety reports, recommendations, and action plans for clients and internal stakeholders

Facilitate safety meetings, risk assessments, and hazard identification workshops

Stay current with evolving aviation safety regulations, best practices, and industry trends

Assist in the development and delivery of aviation safety training programs

Maintain accurate records of safety data, assessments, and implemented corrective actions





Collaborate effectively with diverse teams and clients across different geographical locations

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's safety methodologies and tools

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, Safety Science, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation safety, operations, or a related field

Proven experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and risk assessment methodologies

In-depth knowledge of international aviation regulations and safety standards (e.g., ICAO, EASA, FAA, DGAC)

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable insights

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English

Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote work setting

Proficiency in safety reporting software and data analysis tools

Strong understanding of human factors in aviation

Ability to collaborate effectively with remote colleagues and clients
