Job Description
The Facility Associate ensures our building remains safe, functional, and efficient. This role is a hands-on position responsible for general maintenance, minor repairs (plumbing/electrical/HVAC), and facility support.
Primary Goal: Proactively maintain site infrastructure and resolve issues to support daily operations.
Key Skills: Basic technical repair knowledge, safety compliance, and strong problem-solving abilities.
Work Environment: Primarily on-site, requiring physical activity and a proactive, service-oriented approach to support employees and visitors.
The Facility Associate is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the operational efficiency of the facility's systems and equipment. This role includes general maintenance, repairs, and support for daily operations. The adecuado candidate will have a strong work ethic,
attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- General Maintenance
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems.
- Identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly to ensure facility functionality.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of events and meetings.
Repairs and Support
- Handle minor repairs involving plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling systems.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance work.
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and repairs.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Conduct safety audits and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any hazardous conditions or incidents to management.
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Assist in ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
- Maintain organized storage areas for tools and supplies.
Customer Service
- Respond to facility-related inquiries and requests from employees and visitors.
- Provide an excellent level of service while addressing maintenance concerns efficiently.
