Job Description The Customs Operations Manager oversees maritime and air import/export customs operations, ensuring timely clearance and cargo release while maintaining compliance with Mexican customs laws, foreign trade regulations, non-tariff requirements, and internal procedures.
This role monitors service commitments, operational KPIs, productivity, costs, and audit findings; resolves operational issues; and implements corrective actions. The manager also leads the operations team and works closely with customers, customs authorities, bonded facilities, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Relations, or a related field
5+ years of customs brokerage operations experience
Advanced written and spoken English
Knowledge of Mexican customs law, RGCE/RGMCE, CFF, and foreign trade compliance
Maritime and air import/export customs-clearance experience
Knowledge of tariff classification, pedimento review, duties, taxes, and non-tariff requirements
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and customer-management skills
Ability to travel and work the required Monday-Saturday schedule
Bill of Lading and Air Waybill revalidation experience




Knowledge of cargo pre-inspection and bonded-facility releases
Experience with Incoterms and Mexican Official Standards
Experience with textiles, footwear, cosmetics, or medical equipment
Inland, maritime, and air transportation coordination experience
