About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Especialista en Análisis de Amenazas Cibernéticas to join their growing cybersecurity team based in Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes, MX. This role is critical in proactively identifying, analyzing, and reporting on emerging cyber threats that could impact our client's operations. You will be at the forefront of understanding threat actor methodologies, TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures), and intelligence gathering. The idóneo candidate is passionate about cybersecurity, possesses excellent research skills, and thrives in a collaborative, on-site environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with sophisticated threat intelligence tools and contribute directly to strengthening our client's defenses against sophisticated cyber attacks.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor various intelligence sources (open-source, dark web, threat feeds) to identify potential cyber threats.
- Analyze malware, phishing campaigns, and other attack vectors to understand their scope and impact.
- Develop detailed threat intelligence reports, providing actionable insights to security teams and management.
- Correlate threat data from multiple sources to identify trends and patterns in adversary behavior.
- Support incident response activities by providing timely and relevant threat context.




- Maintain and update the organization's threat intelligence platform.
- Collaborate with internal security teams to enhance defensive strategies based on threat intelligence.
- Conduct research on emerging threats and vulnerabilities relevant to the organization's industry.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in threat intelligence, cybersecurity analysis, or a related role.
- Demonstrated experience in collecting, analyzing, and disseminating threat intelligence.
- Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms and tools.
- Understanding of cyber threat actor groups, their motivations, and common TTPs.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presentation.
- Knowledge of malware analysis techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python for data analysis is advantageous.
