Were helping close the gap between what the future demands and what the world can deliver.At Axiom, youll take on meaningful challenges, be trusted with real responsibility, and work alongside people who value candor, collaboration, and continuous learning.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Quote Engineer located in Guadalajara North Campus.Reporting to the Project Manager, the NPI Quote Engineer will be responsible for the preparation and generation of quotes, according to the complexity of a process or product and the clients strategist.Resource management in the technical area, allocation of quotes, planning, organizing and executing activities related to the project strategy, involving and collaborating with different technical teams.What a typical day looks like: Complete the detailed Cost models for each quote, ensuring correct processes,
content and verify all assumptions with Business teams and operations.Participate in Quote Strategy / Attend Kick-Off calls.Detailed technical review of customer documentation as necessary.Build and manage relationships with site engineering resources.Create cost models for budgetary or quick turn quotes when demand requires.Cost Model data manipulation / Cost & Price roll-up / VAM Creation based on docs and quote strategy.Ensure financial viability and accuracy of cost models used.Provide financial analysis for the BDM Team on quotes.Provide final pricing and financial assumption to be included in quote letter.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:Experience in the sheet metal industry.Knowledge of mechanical sheet metal processes, as Soft Tool punching and bending; Hard Tool stamping; and secondary operations such as hardware insertion, welding, etc.Reading ad Interpretation of Customer Documents such as BOMs, 2D & 3D drawings and specification details, such as: tolerances, surface finishes, materials and special processes.Knowledge of basic financial concepts: P&L;, revenue, cost, etc.Knowledge of NREs and its Cost Estimations (tooling / fixtures).Knowledge of metals commodities.Basic to Intermediate Excel handling (pivot tables, macros).Advanced intermediate English.What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:Competitive Salary.Medical insurance.Christmas Bonus.Food Coupons.Saving Fund.PA91Job CategoryGlobal Procurement & Supply ChainAxiom is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
