About the Role
We are hiring a Content Marketing Specialist to join our content team and take ownership of the multi-channel content that carries our editorial calendar across two brands. This work reaches our clients where they actually spend their time: Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, our websites, and our printed and digital collateral. This is not a role for someone who waits to be assigned tasks. Our editorial program runs on a Monday blog cadence with a Tuesday newsletter send, and each piece of long-form content needs to be shaped into channel-specific assets that respect both the platform and our brand standards. You will own that translation work end to end for both brands, and we expect you to bring ideas of your own for how to make each channel perform better than it does today. You will report directly to the Marketing Manager and work as part of a small, tight-knit team. You will have real autonomy over your channels and your calendar, and your work will be visible to the entire company from day one. What You Will Do
• Own our social presence across Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and LinkedIn for both brands. Plan, write, design, and schedule content for each channel, adapted to how each platform actually works. This includes single-image posts, carousels, Reels, Pins, LinkedIn long-form updates, and Stories.
• Translate our blog and editorial calendar into channel content. Each Monday blog and Tuesday newsletter should spin into a week of platform-native content that supports the calendar rather than repeating it verbatim.
• Create and edit visual content. Build graphics, carousels, quote cards, and short-form video edits primarily in Canva,
working from our existing photography library and brand kits.
• Support website updates across both brands. Publish and format blog posts in Shopify, keep product pages fresh, and coordinate on landing page copy and imagery as needed.
• Keep our catalogs and guides current. Update product catalogs, sales guides, and long-form collateral as products evolve for both brands. This includes coordinating with the product team on new product launches and revisions.
• Track and report performance. Monitor engagement, reach, and traffic across channels, surface what is working, and propose experiments that make the next month better than the last.
• Bring initiative. If a channel is underperforming, we expect you to notice it and bring a plan. If a competitor is doing something well, we expect you to flag it. If our workflow has friction, we expect you to fix it. What We Are Looking For Required
experience:
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on content marketing experience, ideally with a premium consumer or B2B brand where craft and voice matter.
• Strong copywriter. You can write short-form social copy that sounds like a brand with taste, not a brand with a content calendar. You know when to use punctuation for cadence and when to let a sentence sit.
• Working proficiency in Canva.
• Comfortable editing photos and short-form video for social. You do not need to be a full-time videographer, but you should be able to cut a 30-second Reel from raw footage without outside help.
• Basic SEO literacy and hands-on experience publishing content in Shopify (or a comparable CMS). You know how to write a meta description, structure a URL slug, and set alt text without being reminded.
• Organized. You can hold a multi-channel calendar for two brands in your head and never miss a Monday. Nice to have:
• Working with Canva Design.
• Equestrian industry familiarity. You do not need to have grown up in the barn, but you should be able to learn the vocabulary quickly and treat the audience with the respect they expect.
• Experience with long-form document design (catalogs, guides).
• Experience with email marketing platforms.
• Basic HTML for cases where a Shopify blog post needs manual cleanup. How you work:
• You take initiative. You do not wait to be told what to post.
• You own your tasks and you improve them. When you inherit a workflow, you look for what can be sharper.
• You give and receive feedback well. Our editorial standards are exacting and specific, and you will need to internalize them quickly. In return, you will get direct, honest feedback about your work.
• You are self-directed in a remote environment. You manage your own schedule, communicate proactively, and do not need to be checked on. Apply here or send your CV to
