In this role, you will join an established engineering environment at Forte, collaborating across international teams to deliver high-integrity digital platforms. You will work on an enterprise financial services and transactional ecosystem covering core banking operations, payment gateways, and regulatory processing systems, ensuring continuous security, data accuracy, and functional stability. Manual QA Tester, you will contribute to its success by bringing meticulous attention to detail, actively clarifying ambiguous requirements with cross-functional partners, participating in daily Agile ceremonies, and maintaining strict alignment with quality and compliance benchmarks across the software delivery lifecycle. Key Competencies
• Analyze technical specifications and system use cases to design and execute thorough test suites, including functional, boundary, negative, regression, sanity, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Perform end-to-end data validation of multi-currency transactions, fee computations, ledger states, and database records using structured database queries.
• Manage the complete defect lifecycle within tracking platforms like Jira or Azure DevOps, conducting root-cause analysis and validating security controls such as MFA, session management, and role-based access. Mandatory Technical Skills
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and manual test execution, including 3+ years working within Banking, FinTech, or financial services platforms.




• Hands-on proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries to inspect relational database tables, verify transactional balances, and validate backend ledger states.
• Practical experience performing API validation using tools such as Postman or Swagger to inspect HTTP status codes, payloads, and integration endpoints.
• Strong working knowledge of Core Banking Systems (CBS), payment workflows (ACH, SWIFT, RTGS, IMPS, or UPI), and regulatory frameworks such as PCI-DSS and GDPR. Nice to Have Skills
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Exposure to collaborating directly with SDETs to assist in identifying functional test cases suitable for automated regression suites.
• Knowledge of risk-based testing (RBT) techniques applied to high-throughput financial architectures. Qualifications
• High analytical aptitude with the ability to critically evaluate business requirements, identify edge cases, and challenge ambiguous system specifications.
• Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with distributed engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders in fast-paced Agile environments.
