In this role, you will join an established cloud engineering environment at Forte, collaborating across distributed international teams to deliver high-performance digital platforms. You will support enterprise-grade analytics, asset valuation, and forecasting systems in the energy domain, ensuring robust reliability, automated infrastructure delivery, and continuous uptime for mission-critical operations. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will contribute to its success by taking complete ownership of day-to-day engineering practices, driving meticulous pull request reviews, and collaborating seamlessly across cross-functional product teams. You will pragmatically integrate AI tooling into daily workflows to optimize prompts and automation while maintaining strict quality verification across every release. Key Competencies
• Architect, provision, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure using modern Infrastructure as Code practices and continuous delivery automation.
• Own the reliability, observability, and performance of production workloads by engineering comprehensive monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident triage mechanisms.
• Partner directly with software engineering teams to streamline the development lifecycle, standardize deployment patterns, and optimize operational cost and resource utilization. Mandatory Technical Skills
• Extensive hands-on experience running production workloads on Kubernetes (GKE), including the configuration and maintenance of Jobs, Services, ingress controllers, and associated deployment tooling.




• Proven expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure management, leveraging core services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and VPC networking configurations.
• Practical proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to design, automate, and safely manage cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or Google Cloud Build, paired with scripting proficiency in Python or Bash. Nice to Have Skills
• Practical exposure to configuring and managing distributed streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka for real-time analytics workloads.
• Familiarity with enterprise observability stacks, including Datadog, Grafana, or Google Cloud Monitoring.
• Knowledge of cloud security hardening, IAM policy design, and automated vulnerability management within containerized ecosystems. Qualifications
• Strong engineering discipline with demonstrated experience navigating structured SDLC practices, code reviews, pull requests, and ticketing workflows.
• Pragmatic approach to adopting AI-assisted workflows to accelerate automation and tooling efficiency with thorough independent verification.
