Role Description This full-time, on-site Coordinador@ comunicación role at Fundación Por México is based in Huixquilucan de Degollado, MEX. The position is responsible for planning and executing communication strategies that support the foundation’s mission and programs, including coordinating internal and external messaging. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and editing press releases, preparing institutional statements, managing media outreach, and monitoring coverage related to the foundation. The role also involves developing written content for diverse channels (such as newsletters, social media, and web), aligning communication materials with organizational objectives, and ensuring consistent brand voice. The Coordinador@ comunicación will collaborate closely with program teams and leadership to gather information, transform it into clear messages, and maintain effective communication flows across the organization. Qualifications
• Strong skills in Communication and Strategic Communications to design and implement effective communication plans aligned with organizational goals.




• Proficiency in Writing and Press Releases to produce clear, accurate, and engaging content for media and public-facing platforms.
• Experience in Internal Communications to support information sharing, engagement, and alignment among staff and stakeholders.
• Excellent command of written and spoken Spanish; working proficiency in English is an advantage.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with media, partners, and community stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Comfort working on-site in Huixquilucan de Degollado, MEX and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in nonprofit, social impact, or education-focused organizations is a plus.
