About the Role

Our client, a humanitarian organization actively engaged in supporting vulnerable populations, is seeking a compassionate and dynamic Coordinador de Programas de Atención a Migrantes y Refugiados . This essential role, based in Puebla, Puebla, MX , focuses on overseeing the provision of vital services and support to individuals and families navigating migration and seeking refuge. You will be instrumental in ensuring access to legal aid, housing, healthcare, and psychosocial support, fostering a safe and dignified environment for those in transit or displaced. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the planning, implementation, and management of programs providing assistance to migrants and refugees.
- Coordinate the delivery of essential services, including shelter, food, medical care, legal assistance, and psychosocial support.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with local authorities, international organizations, NGOs, and community stakeholders.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify the specific challenges and requirements of the migrant and refugee population.
- Ensure programs are implemented in accordance with humanitarian principles, international standards, and legal frameworks.
- Manage program staff and volunteers, providing guidance, supervision, and capacity building.
- Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to donor requirements.
- Monitor program activities, collect data, and produce timely and accurate reports on progress and impact.
- Advocate for the rights and needs of migrants and refugees within the community and with relevant authorities.




- Develop and implement safety and security protocols for program staff and beneficiaries.
- Facilitate integration support for refugees and long-term migrants where appropriate.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Social Work, Law, Public Policy, or a related field.
- A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in humanitarian aid, refugee assistance, migration management, or social work, with at least 2 years in a coordination or management role.
- Proven experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly migrants and refugees.
- Strong knowledge of international refugee law, human rights, and humanitarian principles.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Familiarity with the specific context and challenges of migration in Puebla, Puebla, MX .
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in challenging environments.
- Fluency in Spanish is essential; knowledge of English or other relevant languages is a significant asset.
