About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding firm in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco , seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join their dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Perform internal audits to assess financial controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.




- Support the implementation and optimization of accounting systems and processes.
- Assist senior management with ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as needed.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., Contador Público Certificado) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
- Experience with tax preparation and compliance is a plus.
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to the Tlaquepaque, Jalisco area, with an understanding of the hybrid work schedule.
