About the Role

Our client, a well-established industrial company in Puebla , is seeking a Certified Public Accountant (CPC) with a strong focus on Internal Audit. This role is integral to safeguarding the company's assets, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting, and evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls. The CPC will conduct audits, identify risks, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and compliance. The position requires presence in our Puebla offices.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute financial, operational, and compliance audits.
- Assess internal controls and identify control weaknesses and areas for improvement.
- Develop audit programs and testing methodologies.
- Analyze financial data and business processes to identify potential risks and inefficiencies.
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports, including findings and recommendations.
- Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with management to implement corrective actions and best practices.




- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the internal audit function.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; certification as a Contado Público (CPC) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or a related accounting role.
- Solid understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) and audit principles.
- Proficiency in data analysis and audit software.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
- High degree of integrity, objectivity, and professionalism.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work from our office in Puebla .
