About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the integration of sustainable design strategies and green building practices into architectural projects.
- Conduct energy modeling, daylight analysis, and life cycle assessments to optimize building performance.
- Manage the certification process for green building standards such as LEED, EDGE, or local Yucatán certifications.
- Collaborate with design teams, consultants, and clients to identify and implement sustainability goals.
- Research and recommend sustainable materials, technologies, and systems for construction.
- Develop sustainability reports and documentation for project submissions and client presentations.




- Stay current with evolving green building codes, policies, and industry best practices.
- Educate project teams and stakeholders on the principles and benefits of sustainable design.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field with a specialization in sustainability.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainable design, green building consulting, or architectural practice with a focus on sustainability.
- Proven experience with green building rating systems (LEED Accredited Professional preferred).
- Familiarity with energy modeling software and analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of sustainable materials, renewable energy systems, and water conservation strategies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse project teams.
- Experience working in the Yucatán region is a plus.
