About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and organized Coordinador de Reclamaciones de Seguros to lead their claims department in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca . This leadership role involves overseeing the entire claims process, ensuring efficient handling, accurate settlements, and exceptional customer service. The coordinator will manage a team of claims adjusters and support staff, provide training, and implement best practices to optimize operations. You will be responsible for resolving complex claims issues, ensuring compliance with regulations, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of insurance claims across various lines, and a commitment to operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the claims department.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of claims adjusters and support personnel.
- Ensure timely and accurate investigation, evaluation, and settlement of insurance claims.
- Develop and implement claims handling procedures and policies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in insurance claims management, with proven leadership experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various insurance lines (e.g., property, auto, liability) and claims handling best practices.
- Strong understanding of insurance regulations and legal principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage a team and drive performance.
- Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Experience in the Oaxaca region is a plus.
