About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned Gerente de Compras y Abastecimiento Senior to lead procurement operations in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca . This leadership role is crucial for driving strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing supply chain efficiency, and ensuring the procurement of high-quality goods and services that align with the company's operational and financial goals. Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor the procurement team in Oaxaca City , fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies.
- Expertise in contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and risk assessment.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with procurement analytics tools.
- Knowledge of the local economic and regulatory environment in Oaxaca .
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Spanish is essential; English proficiency is highly desirable.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Oaxaca City .
