About the Role

Our client, a global leader in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Estratega de Compras Globales y Gestión de Proveedores to lead its global sourcing and supplier management initiatives. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for key categories of spend.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic global suppliers, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead complex negotiations for high-value contracts, ensuring optimal terms, pricing, and service levels.
- Establish and manage a comprehensive supplier relationship management (SRM) program to drive performance, innovation, and risk mitigation.
- Conduct market analysis and intelligence gathering to identify sourcing opportunities and potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D;, operations, finance)



to align procurement strategies with business needs.
- Implement best practices in global procurement and supplier management, leveraging technology and data analytics.
- Monitor supplier performance against key metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with global trade regulations, ethical sourcing policies, and sustainability standards.
- Lead and mentor a general team of procurement professionals in a remote environment.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in global strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing global procurement strategies that deliver significant value.
- Proven ability to lead complex negotiations and manage high-stakes global contracts.
- Expertise in developing and executing supplier relationship management programs.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience managing remote teams.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced procurement analytics tools.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
