About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Principal Consultant for Industrial Process Optimization to join their esteemed consultancy practice based in Acapulco, Guerrero . This pivotal role involves diagnosing inefficiencies in industrial operations, designing and implementing improvement strategies, and driving significant performance gains for a variety of clients in the manufacturing and production sectors. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed assessments of existing industrial processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Design and implement tailored solutions for process optimization, waste reduction, and quality enhancement.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Develop and manage project plans, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders at all levels, from plant floor to executive management.
- Train client personnel on new processes and best practices.
- Analyze operational data to track progress and measure the impact of implemented changes.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations detailing findings and recommendations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within client organizations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial engineering, operations management, or management consulting with a focus on process optimization.
- Demonstrated expertise in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt certification preferred).
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver tangible results in an industrial setting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong leadership and change management capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport.
- Experience in diverse industrial sectors.
- Willingness to travel extensively to client sites within Acapulco and surrounding areas.
- Fluency in Spanish.
