About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a skilled and meticulous Topógrafo de Construcción to join their team in Hermosillo, Sonora, MX . This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of construction projects, from initial site surveys to final layout and verification. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing precise measurements, establishing control points, and documenting site conditions. This is a hybrid position, requiring presence on-site for critical tasks and allowing for some remote work for data analysis and reporting. We are looking for an individual with a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of geodetic principles, and proficiency with modern surveying equipment and software. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct topographic surveys of construction sites to gather data for planning and design.
- Establish and maintain horizontal and vertical control networks.
- Perform boundary surveys, stakeout points, and verify construction layout.
- Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and data collectors.
- Process and analyze survey data using specialized software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D,.');
- Prepare detailed survey reports, maps and drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and site supervisors to ensure accurate interpretation of plans.




- Conduct quality control checks to verify survey accuracy and project compliance.

Requirements

- Degree or technical certification in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction surveyor.
- Proficiency in using modern surveying instruments and techniques.
- Strong knowledge of GPS/GNSS, total stations, and digital levels.
- Experience with survey data processing and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D,.`); Understanding of land surveying principles, regulations, and boundary law.
