About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage scalable Kubernetes clusters across cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment of applications on Kubernetes.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Develop and enforce security best practices for containerized applications and Kubernetes clusters.
- Automate operational tasks, incident response, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot application deployment and runtime issues.
- Manage logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).




- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in DevOps and Kubernetes technologies.
- Document infrastructure, processes, and best practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a related role, with a strong focus on containerization and orchestration.
- Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster setup, configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their container services (EKS, AKS, GKE).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and distributed systems.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a fully remote team.
