About the Role

Our client, a leading analytics firm focused on the digital asset space, is looking for a sharp and analytical Analista de Datos Blockchain to join their team. This position, supporting their operations in Zapopan , will involve extracting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets from various blockchain networks. You will uncover insights into market trends, user behavior, transaction patterns, and the performance of cryptocurrencies and dApps. Your findings will inform strategic decisions for our clients, including investors, developers, and businesses operating in the crypto ecosystem. The idóneo candidate is proficient in data analysis tools, possesses strong SQL skills, and has a solid understanding of blockchain data structures and analytics. You'll play a key role in making complex blockchain data understandable and actionable.

Key Responsibilities

- Extract data from multiple blockchain networks (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana) using APIs and node access.
- Clean, transform, and structure raw blockchain data for analysis.
- Perform in-depth analysis of on-chain data, including transaction volumes, smart contract interactions, and token movements.
- Identify emerging trends, patterns, and anomalies in the cryptocurrency market.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to present data insights effectively.
- Create reports and analyses on market intelligence, user adoption, and network activity.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand data needs and deliver relevant insights.




- Develop and maintain data pipelines and analytical models.
- Stay updated on blockchain technologies and data analysis best practices.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Analyst, with a focus on blockchain data or financial markets.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Python with Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn; R; Tableau; Power BI).
- Understanding of blockchain fundamentals, transaction structures, and common on-chain metrics.
- Familiarity with blockchain explorers and data indexing services is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark) is advantageous.
