About the Role

This vital role focuses on enhancing the reliability and performance of plant equipment through advanced predictive maintenance techniques and strategic reliability engineering. The idóneo candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, coupled with expertise in condition monitoring technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis) and failure analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing predictive maintenance programs, analyzing equipment data to identify potential failures, and recommending proactive measures to prevent costly breakdowns. Your contributions will directly impact operational efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, and extend the lifecycle of critical plant assets. Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and manage predictive maintenance programs utilizing various condition monitoring technologies.
- Conduct regular inspections and data analysis (vibration, thermography, oil analysis, ultrasound) on plant equipment.
- Analyze equipment failure data to identify root causes and trends, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Develop and recommend proactive maintenance strategies and corrective actions to prevent equipment failures.
- Create and maintain equipment reliability databases and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to schedule and execute predictive maintenance activities.




- Identify opportunities for asset life extension and reliability improvements.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and best practices in predictive maintenance and reliability engineering.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and the effectiveness of implemented strategies.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and reliability engineering within an industrial plant environment.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and other NDT methods.
- Proficiency in analyzing data from various monitoring systems and software.
- Understanding of failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Relevant certifications in predictive maintenance (e.g., CMRP, CAT III vibration analyst) are highly desirable.
- Must be legally authorized to work in San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí.
