About the Role

Our client, a global leader in advanced electronics manufacturing, is seeking a visionary and highly experienced Director de Operaciones de Manufactura to lead their manufacturing strategy and execution. This is a pivotal, fully remote leadership position, requiring strategic oversight of all manufacturing operations across various sites. You will be responsible for setting the direction for operational excellence, driving significant improvements in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives. The idóneo candidate possesses a proven track record in leading large-scale manufacturing organizations, deep expertise in lean principles, supply chain management, and a strong capacity for innovation and change management in a remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the overall manufacturing strategy to achieve business goals for growth, profitability, and market leadership. Oversee the P&L; for all manufacturing operations, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all manufacturing sites, focusing on lean principles, Six Sigma, and operational efficiency. Lead and mentor a team of global manufacturing leaders and plant managers. Establish and maintain high standards for quality, safety, and environmental compliance across all facilities. Develop and manage the global manufacturing budget, optimizing resource allocation. Collaborate closely with R&D;, engineering, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure seamless product realization and market responsiveness. Implement and leverage advanced manufacturing technologies and digital transformation initiatives. Develop robust supply chain strategies to ensure resilience and cost-effectiveness. Foster a strong culture of innovation,



collaboration, and accountability throughout the manufacturing organization.

Requirements

- MBA or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in global manufacturing operations, preferably within the electronics or high-tech industry.
- Demonstrated success in driving significant operational improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancements.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, advanced planning systems, and global logistics.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate diverse, geographically dispersed teams.
- Excellent strategic thinking, financial acumen, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience with digital manufacturing technologies and Industry 4.0 concepts.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico and able to function effectively in a fully remote leadership role based in Mexico.
