About the Role

Our client, a recognized leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a driven Continuous Improvement Process Engineer to join their team in Naucalpan, State of Mexico . This role is integral to driving operational excellence by identifying, analyzing, and implementing improvements across all manufacturing processes. You will utilize methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, improve quality, and lower costs. The idóneo candidate will have a proven track record of successful process improvement projects, strong analytical skills, and the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and efficiency gains in production and related areas.
- Analyze process data, performance metrics, and customer feedback to pinpoint areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement action plans for process improvements, including pilot projects and full-scale rollouts.
- Train and mentor employees at all levels on continuous improvement tools and techniques.
- Standardize processes and best practices across different departments and shifts.




- Conduct Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) sessions, and other CI workshops.
- Monitor the sustainability of implemented improvements and ensure long-term effectiveness.
- Report on the progress and impact of continuous improvement projects to management.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in continuous improvement, process engineering, or lean manufacturing roles, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in applying Lean tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, VSM, Poka-Yoke) and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent facilitation, training, and communication skills in Spanish.
- Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing processes is a significant advantage.
