Our client, a prominent real estate development company with a strong presence in Querétaro City , is actively seeking an experienced Arquitecto de Proyectos de Expansión Comercial to spearhead their new development initiatives. This role is pivotal in identifying and executing opportunities for commercial property expansion across the region. The successful candidate will be instrumental in translating market demands into functional and profitable commercial spaces. You will work closely with a dedicated team of professionals, including developers, engineers, and marketing specialists, to bring ambitious projects to fruition. This position requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a proven track record in managing complex commercial architectural projects from inception through to final delivery. The role is based in our Querétaro office, offering a fantastic opportunity to contribute significantly to the urban landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the architectural design and planning phases for new commercial developments and expansions in Querétaro City .
- Conduct feasibility studies and site analyses to evaluate potential commercial project locations.
- Develop detailed architectural plans, blueprints, and technical specifications for retail, office, and mixed-use spaces.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants (engineers, surveyors, etc.) throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all designs comply with municipal regulations, zoning laws, and building codes specific to Querétaro .
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and quality control measures for all commercial projects.
- Collaborate with leasing and sales teams to ensure designs meet market demands and tenant requirements.
- Perform site inspections during construction to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in commercial architecture, with demonstrated success in project management and development.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D modeling software.
- Solid understanding of commercial real estate market trends and development processes.
- Experience with local building regulations and permitting processes in Querétaro .
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong client relationship management and communication abilities.
- Architectural license is required.
