Key Responsibilities

- Installation, termination, and testing of data and voice cabling systems (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, Fiber Optic).
- Deployment and configuration of network hardware, including routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
- Troubleshooting and repairing network connectivity issues, identifying faulty equipment or cabling.
- Installation of telecommunications equipment, such as telephone systems, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Reading and interpreting network diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Ensuring all installations comply with industry standards (e.g., TIA/EIA) and safety regulations.




- Performing site surveys and assessments to plan and design network infrastructure solutions.
- Providing technical support and assistance to clients during and after installation.
- Documenting network configurations, installation details, and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements

- Technical degree or certification in Telecommunications, Computer Networking, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in installing and maintaining telecommunications and network infrastructure.
- Proven experience with structured cabling systems (copper and fiber optic), including termination and testing.
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network topologies.
- Experience with configuring basic network devices (routers, switches).
- Familiarity with telecommunications equipment installation, such as VoIP phones and CCTV systems.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region as required for installations.
