About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and precise Especialista en Nóminas to manage payroll processing and related tasks. This hybrid role offers a blend of on-site and remote work, supporting the finance and HR departments. The adecuado candidate will have a thorough understanding of Mexican labor laws and payroll regulations, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees. This position is based out of our client's office in Acapulco, Guerrero . We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can manage complex payroll scenarios and maintain employee data with utmost confidentiality. Your role will be crucial in ensuring employee satisfaction and compliance with all statutory requirements. You will be a key point of contact for payroll-related queries, working collaboratively with HR and finance teams in Acapulco.

Key Responsibilities

- Process payroll accurately and efficiently on a bi-weekly or monthly basis.
- Ensure compliance with all Mexican labor laws and tax regulations related to payroll.
- Manage employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes to compensation.
- Calculate and process deductions, benefits, and other payroll adjustments.
- Prepare and file payroll tax reports and remittances.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions.




- Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist with the annual payroll reconciliation and tax reporting.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and administration.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law and payroll tax regulations.
- Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., NOMIPAQ, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees and management.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Experience with hybrid work arrangements is a plus.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
