About the Role

Our client, a global leader in agricultural innovation, is seeking a highly skilled Ingeniero Agrónomo focused on Sistemas de Producción for a fully remote position. This role is integral to designing, implementing, and optimizing efficient and sustainable agricultural production systems for diverse clients. You will be instrumental in analyzing current practices, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending cutting‑edge solutions. The adecuado candidate possesses a strong theoretical foundation in agronomy coupled with practical experience in farm management and system design. You will collaborate with a diverse team of experts to drive advancements in agricultural efficiency and productivity worldwide, all while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and model integrated agricultural production systems, considering crop selection, soil health, water management, and pest control.
- Analyze existing farming operations to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop strategies for sustainable resource management, including water, nutrient, and energy use.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce environmental impact.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, feasibility studies, and project proposals.
- Collaborate with agronomists, engineers, and data scientists to integrate diverse expertise into system designs.
- Provide expert consultation and technical support to clients and project teams.
- Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and innovations in agricultural systems and sustainable farming practices.




- Ensure all proposed systems comply with local regulations and international standards.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization.

Requirements

- Master's degree or PhD in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in agricultural systems design, farm management, or production optimization.
- Deep understanding of agronomic principles, including crop physiology, soil science, and ecology.
- Proven experience in designing and managing complex agricultural production systems.
- Proficiency in using simulation software, statistical analysis tools, and farm management information systems (FMIS).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage projects effectively, and collaborate in a remote team environment.
- Experience with precision agriculture and sustainable farming practices is essential.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
