About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Transportation and Traffic Civil Engineer to join their team in Tijuana, Baja California, MX . This role is essential for the planning, design, and implementation of efficient and safe transportation systems, including roadways, intersections, and public transit infrastructure. The adecuado candidate will possess a strong understanding of traffic engineering principles, transportation planning, and geometric design. This is a full-time, on-site position, requiring direct engagement with project sites and local authorities. Key Responsibilities

- Design and plan transportation infrastructure, including highways, streets, and intersections.

- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant transportation standards and safety regulations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering and traffic analysis.
- Proficiency in traffic analysis software (e.g., VISSIM, SIDRA, Synchro) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Strong knowledge of geometric design principles for roadways.
- Familiarity with traffic safety principles and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to manage project tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience with public transportation planning is a plus.
