About the Role

Our client, a major airline operator, is seeking a dedicated Fleet Maintenance Specialist to manage and oversee the maintenance operations for a specific segment of their aircraft fleet. This is an on-site position based at our hub in Saltillo, Coahuila, MX . You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of airworthiness, reliability, and safety for the assigned aircraft. This role involves close coordination with maintenance crews, engineering teams, regulatory bodies, and vendors. The adecuado candidate will possess extensive knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and relevant aviation regulations. We are looking for a proactive individual with strong leadership capabilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to operational excellence. You will play a crucial part in planning and executing scheduled maintenance, unscheduled repairs, and modifications, ensuring minimal disruption to flight schedules while maintaining compliance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive maintenance programs for assigned aircraft fleet
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, manufacturer recommendations, and regulatory requirements (e.g., DGAC, FAA, EASA)
- Oversee scheduled maintenance, component replacements, and major repairs/overhauls
- Manage unscheduled maintenance events, ensuring rapid and effective troubleshooting and resolution
- Coordinate with engineering for technical support, modifications, and Airworthiness Directives (ADs) implementation
- Monitor aircraft technical logs and maintenance records for accuracy and completeness




- Manage spare parts inventory and logistics related to fleet maintenance
- Liaise with external maintenance providers and vendors to ensure quality and timely service
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends, reliability issues, and areas for improvement
- Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and engineers

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or fleet management within the aviation industry
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and maintenance procedures
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations and airworthiness standards
- Proven experience in troubleshooting complex aircraft issues and implementing effective solutions
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Proficiency in using maintenance information systems and relevant software
- Relevant certifications (e.g., A&P; license, type ratings) are highly desirable
- Must be willing to work full-time on-site in Saltillo, Coahuila, MX
