About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and innovative Especialista en Diseño BIM para Construcción to join their remote team. This role is central to enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of our construction projects through advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies. The idóneo candidate will have extensive experience in developing and managing BIM models for various construction phases, from conceptual design through to construction documentation and facility management. As a fully remote position, you will collaborate with project teams across different locations, leveraging digital tools to deliver exceptional results. We seek an individual with a deep understanding of BIM software, workflows, and standards, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Your expertise will be instrumental in improving coordination, detecting clashes, optimizing designs, and streamlining the construction process. Key Responsibilities

- Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate BIM into project workflows.
- Perform clash detection and coordinate model elements to resolve design conflicts.
- Generate 3D visualizations, construction drawings, and documentation from BIM models.
- Assist in the development of BIM execution plans and standards.
- Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software and best practices.
- Optimize models for various uses, including quantity take-offs, scheduling (4D), and cost estimation (5D).




- Ensure model accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project requirements.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in BIM technology and methodologies.
- Facilitate virtual design and construction (VDC) processes.
- Contribute to the development of standards and protocols for BIM implementation.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in BIM modeling and coordination for construction projects.
- Expert proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and related platforms.
- Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
- Experience with VDC processes and 4D/5D BIM implementation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.
- Knowledge of industry BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico and comfortable working remotely.
- Experience with other relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Dynamo) is a plus.
