About the Role

Our client, a major industrial player in Monterrey, Nuevo León , is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Compras professional for the role of Comprador Senior . This position is critical for managing and optimizing the acquisition of goods and services essential to our client's operations. The adecuado candidate will possess extensive experience in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationship management, with a proven ability to drive cost savings and ensure supply chain efficiency. You will be instrumental in developing and executing sourcing strategies, identifying cost reduction opportunities, and mitigating supply chain risks. Key Responsibilities

- Lead sourcing initiatives for various categories of materials and services.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and identify new supplier opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable agreements.
- Manage supplier performance, ensuring quality, delivery, and service level adherence.
- Develop and implement cost-saving strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.




- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and other departments to understand material requirements and specifications.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare relevant reports.

Requirements

- Substantial experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and driving cost savings.
- Strong understanding of sourcing methodologies and supplier management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.
