About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join their innovative Research and Development team, focusing on Distributed Systems. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software for distributed systems. Implement scalable and fault-tolerant solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks. Collaborate with researchers to translate research concepts into functional software prototypes. Optimize system performance and ensure reliability and scalability. Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality. Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural design discussions. Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in distributed environments.



Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in software engineering and distributed systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on distributed systems. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, Go, or Python. Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts (e.g., concurrency, consensus, replication, microservices). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities, effective in both in-person and remote collaboration. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Saltillo, Coahuila, MX .
