About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, execute, and report on internal audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes.
- Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
- Evaluate risks and develop audit programs to address identified risks.
- Verify the accuracy and reliability of financial records and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct investigations into suspected fraud or irregularities.




- Prepare clear and concise audit reports with actionable recommendations.
- Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and the audit committee.
- Stay current with professional auditing standards and best practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in internal or external auditing.
- Strong understanding of auditing principles, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
- Knowledge of Mexican accounting standards (NIFs) and tax regulations is advantageous.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong report writing and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity, objectivity, and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and manage audit engagements effectively.
- Experience in the manufacturing or service industry is a plus.
