About the Role

Our client, a dynamic firm specializing in the design of hospitality and tourism infrastructure, is seeking a creative and experienced Arquitecto de Diseño Turístico y de Hospitalidad to join their team in the stunning coastal city of Acapulco, Guerrero. This role focuses on conceptualizing and developing unique and memorable spaces for hotels, resorts, restaurants, and other leisure facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in hospitality design, a deep understanding of guest experience, and a flair for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional environments that enhance the region's tourism appeal. You will collaborate with clients, developers, and operational teams to bring innovative hospitality projects to life. This hybrid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of tourism architecture in one of Mexico's most iconic destinations. Key Responsibilities

- Lead the architectural design of hospitality projects, including hotels, resorts, restaurants, and spa facilities.
- Develop conceptual designs, master plans, and detailed architectural drawings that align with brand identity and guest experience.
- Create engaging public spaces, guest rooms, and amenities that optimize functionality and aesthetic appeal.
- Collaborate closely with clients, operators, and consultants to define project scope, budget, and timelines.
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes, environmental regulations, and tourism standards in Acapulco.
- Specify materials,



finishes, and FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) to enhance the guest experience.
- Coordinate with engineers and other specialists to integrate building systems effectively.
- Conduct site visits and feasibility studies for new hospitality developments.
- Stay current with general trends in hospitality design and sustainable tourism practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in architectural design, with a significant focus on hospitality and tourism projects.
- Proven portfolio demonstrating successful design of hotels, resorts, or similar hospitality venues.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and rendering applications.
- Strong understanding of guest experience design, space planning for hospitality, and operational flows.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and safety regulations for public assembly and lodging.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting and manage multiple projects.
- Experience working with coastal or tropical architectural styles is a plus.
