About the Role

Our client, an organization dedicated to fostering positive social change and community well-being, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Coordinador de Programas de Rehabilitación y Reinserción Social . This role, based in Mérida, Yucatán, MX , is instrumental in developing and overseeing programs aimed at supporting individuals through rehabilitation processes and facilitating their successful reintegration into society. You will work closely with former offenders, their families, and community stakeholders to provide necessary support and resources, promoting safer communities and reducing recidivism. Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and manage programs focused on rehabilitation and social reintegration for individuals with a history of offending.
- Coordinate the provision of services such as counseling, vocational training, educational support, and life skills development.
- Build and maintain partnerships with correctional facilities, probation services, employers, and community support networks.
- Conduct assessments to identify the individual needs and challenges of program participants.
- Facilitate group sessions and workshops focused on topics such as anger management, substance abuse, conflict resolution, and job readiness.
- Provide case management services, monitoring participant progress and offering ongoing support.
- Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Collect data on program activities and outcomes, preparing reports to evaluate effectiveness and impact.
- Advocate for the needs of program participants and promote their rights within the community.




- Organize and facilitate community outreach activities to foster acceptance and support for reintegration.
- Ensure adherence to legal requirements and ethical standards in program delivery.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, or a related field.
- A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in social work, correctional services, rehabilitation, or program management, with a focus on offender reintegration.
- Demonstrated experience in program development and case management.
- Strong understanding of rehabilitation principles, offender behavior, and social reintegration challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals facing significant personal and social challenges.
- Experience in building and maintaining collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Familiarity with the social context and resources available for rehabilitation in Mérida, Yucatán, MX.
- High level of empathy, patience, and resilience.
- Fluency in Spanish required; knowledge of English is beneficial.
