About the Role

Our client, a reputable multinational corporation with operations in Puebla, Puebla , is seeking an experienced Specialist in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This role is essential for ensuring that the company's financial reporting complies with global accounting standards. You will be responsible for the implementation, interpretation, and application of IFRS, as well as providing guidance to the accounting team on complex accounting issues. The adecuado candidate will have a strong technical accounting background and extensive experience with IFRS. Key Responsibilities

- Lead the implementation and ongoing application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the finance and accounting teams.
- Analyze the impact of new accounting pronouncements and ensure compliance.
- Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures in accordance with IFRS.
- Assist in the preparation for and coordination of external audits related to IFRS compliance.
- Develop and deliver training on IFRS to relevant stakeholders.




- Review and advise on complex accounting transactions and their IFRS implications.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial reporting across all relevant entities.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a significant focus on IFRS implementation and application.
- Deep technical knowledge of IFRS and its practical application.
- Experience with Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Must be based in or willing to commute to Puebla, Puebla .
