About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing digital media company operating primarily online, is seeking a skilled and creative Editor de Video to craft compelling video content. This is a fully remote, part-time position perfect for a storyteller with a keen eye for visual pacing and narrative flow. You will be responsible for editing a variety of video projects, including marketing materials, social media content, and internal communications. Key Responsibilities

- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging video content suitable for various platforms (web, social media, etc.).
- Assemble sequences, select shots, and arrange clips to create a cohesive narrative.
- Incorporate graphics, text overlays, sound effects, and music to enhance video storytelling.
- Perform color correction and basic audio mixing to ensure professional quality.
- Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Manage video assets and maintain an organized file structure.
- Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.
- Stay updated on video editing trends and best practices for digital platforms.
- Deliver final edited videos within specified deadlines.
- Optimize video files for different delivery formats and platforms.




- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders efficiently.
- Work independently and proactively manage assigned tasks in a remote setting.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing a range of video projects.
- Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Experience with motion graphics and visual effects is a plus.
- Familiarity with color grading and audio editing techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines remotely.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork.
- Knowledge of various video codecs and file formats.
