Key Responsibilities

- Conduct in-depth analysis of aircraft maintenance records, performance data, and incident reports to identify trends and recommend preventive measures.
- Develop and revise aircraft maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, EASA) and manufacturer recommendations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance teams remotely, troubleshooting complex issues and offering expert solutions.
- Oversee the implementation of modifications and repairs, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to optimize spare parts inventory and ensure timely availability for maintenance activities.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new aircraft and equipment, providing engineering insights.




- Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance procedures and best practices within the organization.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all maintenance activities, inspections, and modifications.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in aircraft maintenance engineering, with a strong focus on heavy maintenance and line maintenance.
- Proven experience with various aircraft types and their respective maintenance requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, airworthiness directives, and maintenance best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Proficiency in using aircraft maintenance software and documentation systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams remotely.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., A&P; license, specific type ratings) are highly desirable.
- Reside in San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí, MX or be willing to establish residency if required for occasional site visits (though the role is primarily remote).
