About the Role

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in the industrial hub of Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico , is looking for a dedicated Ingeniero de Planta y Eficiencia Operativa . This hybrid role focuses on optimizing plant operations, enhancing productivity, and ensuring the smooth functioning of all manufacturing processes. The idóneo candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, a deep understanding of industrial engineering principles, and a proven ability to implement effective operational improvements. You will play a critical role in driving efficiency gains and maintaining high standards of quality and safety within the plant, with the flexibility to work some days remotely. Key Responsibilities

- Analyze current plant operations to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and quality.
- Develop and implement strategies for process optimization and productivity enhancement.
- Oversee the implementation of new technologies and equipment to improve operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with maintenance, production, and quality teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports on plant performance.
- Manage projects related to plant upgrades, equipment installation, and process changes.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for plant operations.




- Provide training and guidance to operational staff on best practices and new procedures.
- Contribute to strategic planning for future operational improvements and expansions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in plant operations, industrial engineering, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and implement solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience in project management and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to adapt to a hybrid work schedule, balancing on-site responsibilities with remote work flexibility.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Fluency in Spanish is required; English proficiency is a plus.
- Must be able to work on-site in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico , with potential for remote work days.
