About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and organized Analista de Compras y Logística to join their team, working remotely with potential for occasional office visits to Tlaquepaque, Jalisco . This dual-focused role will involve managing procurement activities for specific materials and coordinating logistics to ensure efficient supply chain operations. The adecuado candidate will possess a strong understanding of both purchasing processes and logistical challenges, coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will play a key role in optimizing inventory levels, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective movement of goods. Key Responsibilities

- Execute purchase orders for raw materials, components, and supplies according to demand forecasts and inventory targets.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery lead times, and quality of goods received.
- Coordinate with logistics providers to schedule shipments, track deliveries, and manage freight costs.
- Analyze inventory levels and recommend adjustments to optimize stock and minimize carrying costs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (production, sales) to ensure alignment on procurement and logistics needs.
- Assist in identifying and evaluating new suppliers and service providers.
- Process invoices and resolve any discrepancies related to purchases or shipments.




- Maintain accurate records of procurement and logistics activities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a role involving both purchasing and logistics coordination.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, order management, and inventory control principles.
- Understanding of logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and freight management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a remote team environment.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
