About the Role

Our client, WhatJobs Direct, is looking for a knowledgeable and meticulous Aviation Regulations Specialist to join their team in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca . This non-remote role is critical for ensuring that all company operations comply with the complex web of national and international aviation laws and standards. You will be responsible for interpreting, implementing, and monitoring regulatory requirements, advising stakeholders on compliance matters, and assisting in the development of policies and procedures that align with aviation law. Key Responsibilities

- Research, interpret, and disseminate information on national and international aviation regulations.
- Ensure company compliance with all applicable aviation laws, including those related to safety, operations, and environmental protection.
- Develop and update company policies and procedures to reflect regulatory changes.
- Advise management and operational departments on regulatory requirements and potential impacts.
- Prepare documentation and submissions for regulatory authorities.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their implications for the company.
- Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with regulations.




- Assist in managing relationships with aviation regulatory bodies.
- Develop and deliver training on aviation regulatory compliance.

Requirements

- Law degree or Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field with a strong focus on regulatory affairs.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in aviation regulatory compliance or aviation law.
- Thorough knowledge of national (e.g., DGAC) and international (e.g., ICAO) aviation regulations.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex regulations.
- Proficiency in legal research databases and standard office software.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
- Must be able to work on-site in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca .
