Key Responsibilities

- Remotely monitor the performance of solar and wind energy systems, analyzing data to identify potential issues or inefficiencies.
- Diagnose technical problems with renewable energy generation equipment (inverters, panels, turbines, batteries) using remote monitoring tools and software.
- Provide clear technical guidance and support to on-site installation and maintenance teams.
- Develop and implement remote troubleshooting procedures and solutions for common system failures.
- Perform system diagnostics, data analysis, and generate reports on system performance, energy output, and maintenance needs.
- Contribute to the design and optimization of renewable energy systems based on performance data and industry best practices.
- Stay current with advancements in solar and wind energy technologies, regulations, and maintenance techniques.




- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards in all guidance provided to field teams.
- Manage and prioritize incoming support requests and maintenance alerts.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and operations teams to ensure seamless system integration and operation.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Technician or Specialist in the installation and/or maintenance of solar PV and/or wind energy systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical principles, AC/DC systems, inverters, charge controllers, and battery storage.
- Proficiency in using remote monitoring platforms and diagnostic software for renewable energy systems.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, system diagrams, and performance data.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to remote diagnostics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to various audiences.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively independently in a remote work setting.
- Relevant technical certifications or a degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations for renewable energy systems.
- Must be legally authorized to work remotely for a company operating in Mexico.
