About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and proactive Inspector de Seguridad e Higiene en Construcción to ensure a safe working environment across all construction sites in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico, MX . This role is paramount in preventing accidents and ensuring compliance with all national safety regulations and company policies. The adecuado candidate will have a thorough understanding of construction hazards, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures. You will be responsible for conducting regular site inspections, identifying potential risks, implementing corrective actions, and providing safety training to site personnel. This is an on-site position, requiring full-time dedication to the project locations. We are looking for an individual with excellent observational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for safety. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of construction sites.
- Identify potential safety hazards and environmental risks.
- Develop and implement safety plans and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards (e.g., NOMs).
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend preventive measures.
- Deliver safety training programs to employees and contractors.
- Maintain safety records and documentation.




- Promote a strong safety culture among all site personnel.
- Ensure availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Coordinate with site management to address safety concerns promptly.
- Prepare safety reports for management review.

Requirements

- Degree or technical certification in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Safety Inspector in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices in Mexico.
- Experience with risk assessment and hazard identification.
- Ability to conduct safety training and toolbox talks.
- Strong understanding of industrial hygiene principles.
- Excellent observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively on-site and enforce safety policies.
- Must be based in or willing to work on-site in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico, MX.
- Relevant safety certifications (e.g., STPS certification) are required.
