About the Role

Our client, a prominent healthcare provider in Cancún, Quintana Roo , is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Especialista en Nutrición Pediátrica to enhance their pediatric care services. This role involves providing expert nutritional guidance and support to infants, children, and adolescents, addressing a wide range of nutritional needs and health conditions. The adecuado candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nutrition, excellent patient counseling skills, and a commitment to promoting healthy eating habits from an early age. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for pediatric patients, including infants, children, and adolescents.
- Develop personalized nutrition care plans to address specific health conditions, growth concerns, allergies, and dietary restrictions.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy eating practices, meal planning, and appropriate dietary strategies.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust nutrition plans as needed, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
- Stay current with the latest research and advancements in pediatric nutrition and apply evidence-based practices.
- Develop educational materials and resources for patients and the community on pediatric nutrition topics.




- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

Requirements

- Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (Licenciatura en Nutrición) with a specialization or significant experience in pediatric nutrition.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in pediatrics.
- In-depth knowledge of child growth and development, nutritional requirements across the pediatric lifespan, and common pediatric health conditions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills, with the ability to connect with children and families.
- Proficiency in nutritional assessment tools and software.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare setting.
- Current professional license and certifications as required.
- Residency in or near Cancún, Quintana Roo , with the flexibility for hybrid work arrangements.
